I saw this yesterday as well, and I was vaguely bothered by it. I think I've actually somehow (strangely) gotten more idealistic as I've grown older, and I'm much more depressed by the cynicism behind this than the concept they were trying to convey.

Too bad the photo doesn't show that entire building. It's covered with grafitti and is a real neighborhood eyesore.

oh I agree. It's been vacant for a very long time, in fact I am hard pressed to remember when it was still a viable store.

It stood out, not something you normally see out here. Usual graffiti is that tag bullsh*t or the occasional piece of art.
This is more like something you might see elsewhere in the City.
Personally one of my favorites was this mailbox, which regularly was covered in song lyrics: http://www.flickr.com/photos/gdewar/1436655628/

Oh, sentiment aside, I def. agree that it's more interesting than the tag I've had on the front of my building for the last two years!

Central Sunset? Seriously Flickr? Ugh. Anyhow, you should add that to the SF Stencil Graf group on Flickr.

"métro, boulot, dodo" (subway, work, sleep) is an expression that's often used in France to say, 'same old.'
